The Newest Co vid Travel restrictions.

The last few years have been a wild ride for sure on travel restrictions due to Covid. Suddenly a ton of destinations and cruise lines have changed course, then they changed course again,
then again, it was hard to keep up!! Finally in summer of 2022 almost all destinations dropped all the requirements, no more shot passports, no more face masks, no pre travel testing no more post travel testing to return home.

Nearly all destinations including cruises have totally dropped ALL co vid restrictions.

The next up coming “restriction” or “rule” seems to be leaning toward facial recognition to board air craft. The European Union announced that starting Nov of 2024 ALL passengers will need to submit to finger prints AND facial recognition to enter and EU countries. They have moved this once all ready, so we will see what happens.

As a side note there are some US airline that for international destinations of Mexico and Caribbean island are testing and sort of demanding their guests use “faces” as a boarding pass. I will tell you that last 2 international flights wanted this but I politely declined. Simply had to show my regular boarding pass (we had paper, but phone boarding pass will work just as well). Both gate agents seems miffed they had to do their job the old fashion way, but we still boarded with no issues.
